As a minimalist,
I may not have luxury cars.
What little I own is —
not mine but ours.
Less time on my ass — more time
doing more meaningful things.
writing, dreaming, daring to believe.
Fewer possessions I value more.
Bettering myself, no longer a chore.
Experiencing life with people, not things.
But this lifestyle isn’t free.
I’ve given up
a number of things.
The things we do without:
Shopping bags. (Useless shit.)
Fake friends. (Fake experiences.)
Luxury vehicles. (Car payments.)
Exorbitant spending. (Credit card debt.)
Medications. (Stress, anxiety, lack-of-time.)
Replace it all with:
These are the things we do without.
So we can have
Pursue the things that actually matter
Instead of the matter just cluttering your time.
